  • Performance

A blue 2022 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E is shown towing a trailer on a road road.

The Honda Ridgeline is powered by a standard 3.5-liter V6. The powertrain produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, utilizing an Eco Assist system and variable cylinder management in order to conserve fuel consumption and increase efficiency. With the Eco Assist system enabled, it provides drivers with feedback on how efficient their driving is and how economical they're being with fuel conservation.

The horsepower and torque output by the 3.5-liter V6 enables the 2022 Honda Ridgeline to achieve a maximum tow rating of 5,000 pounds. The tow rating is excellent for hauling small vehicles and boats to your favorite vacation spots. The various eco-friendly technologies implemented into the powertrain also allow the Ridgeline to achieve a fuel economy rating of up to 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. This gives the midsize pickup a total combined rating of 21 miles per gallon.**

    A Smooth Ride

All trim variations of the Ridgeline come with Active Noise Cancellation, reducing the amount of vibration and clamor that makes its way into the cabin from the engine bay. The V6 is also attached to a 9-speed automatic transmission with included paddle shifters so you can manually shift if you so choose. The Intelligent Variable Torque Management, also known as the i-VTM4, all-wheel drive system is what helps the Ridgeline achieve stability and traction both on the road and off the road.

The intelligent traction management system works in conjunction with the i-VTM4 and the transmission to monitor and change the torque distribution as well as traction control. For the Ridgeline, the driver has easy access to change the traction system based on the driver information display cluster, where it will show which of the modes the system is in. Depending on the road conditions and your location, you can alter the traction so that it's suited for snow, sand, or mud. This will give you extra stability while on the road, off the road, or under specific driving conditions.

    Reliable Performance

A high-capacity radiator with high-powered fans is a standard feature to help elevate the durability of the Ridgeline's powertrain, giving it longer-lasting functionality and reliability while out and about during travel. With the added idle-stop functionality and heavy-duty transmission cooler, the powertrain is put through less wear and tear while the vehicle is stationary. The push-button start system with Walk Away Auto Lock is designed to make entering, starting, and locking your truck as convenient as possible without ever removing your key fob from your pocket or purse.

  • Technology

The 2022 Honda Ridgeline is outfitted from top to bottom with the latest in safety and infotainment features. Safety is handled by the Honda Sensing technology suite, which combines passive and active driving aids to help maintain peace of mind driving from one location to the next. From the patented Collision Mitigation Braking System to reduce potential collisions to the Vehicle Stability Assist system that maintains on-road maneuverability and traction control, there is a lot to appreciate when it comes to the safety tech available in the Ridgeline across the entire trim lineup.

Braking assistance, lane-departure warnings, and road departure mitigation all help contribute to safe driving in Honda's midsize pickup. Advanced features such as the Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitor further aid in driving, along with the multi-angle rearview camera that comes with dynamic guidelines. It's a perfect system to help with rear parking and attempting to maneuver the vehicle into difficult positions.

    Entertainment and Convenience

Beyond the safety measures in place, the Ridgeline has a robust buffet of convenience and infotainment features, such as a standard 8-inch center touchscreen display with electrostatic input and app support. All trims also come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, which syncs with the speed-sensitive volume compensation, so you're never separated from the full-featured capabilities of your smart devices. And thanks to the Bluetooth wireless support and voice-activated controls, you can send text messages or make phone calls using hands-free functionality thanks to the patented HandsFreeLink.

Even if you're using older media devices, you can make use of an MP3 audio jack or charge your smart device using the USB charging ports. If you opt for the RTL-E or Black Edition of the Ridgeline, you can bypass physical cords altogether and charge your smart device using a wireless charging pad. The RTL-E and Black Edition also feature a truck-bed audio system and an optional 540-watt premium surround sound system featuring a subwoofer and eight speakers. This means you can enjoy your favorite tunes whether you're in the cabin or parked outside and listening from the truck bed speakers.

    Stay Connected On the Road

The standard integration of the HondaLink service also makes it convenient for you to sync your Ridgeline with your smartphone, allowing you to monitor the truck remotely or even send information to the vehicle. The available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System is also designed to take full advantage of HD digital traffic monitoring and utilize voice-activated navigation commands. You can even enjoy all your favorite streaming audio and radio stations with available SiriusXM Satellite Radio support and HD Radio integration.
