Job Title: Evening/Weekend Dispatcher
Reports To: Service Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for controlling service flow and increasing CSI on an ongoing basis.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Schedule service appointments as needed.
  1. Dispatches evening/weekend work. Maintain dispatch log.
  1. Maintains Honda service follow up log for service manager inspection. Prints phone follow up log and makes calls on a daily basis.
  1. Completes training as required by factory and/or service manager.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Sales Lot Attendant

Reports To: Sales Manager

Summary: Maintains attractive indoor and outdoor vehicle displays for all new and used vehicles by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Maintains organized and attractive indoor and outdoor vehicle displays according to company guidelines.*
  1. Monitors vehicles to ensure proper running condition; notifies appropriate manager of needed repairs.*
  1. Parks and re-parks vehicles for displays by operating vehicles in a safe manner according to training guidelines.*
  1. Ensures vehicle cleanliness prior to display by performing interior and exterior cleaning duties.*
  1. Maintains the sales lot in a clean and orderly manner by removing debris, shoveling snow as needed, and other physical activities.*
  1. Completes dealer trades with associated dealerships to include delivering vehicles and obtaining new vehicles.*
  1. Performs miscellaneous errands on behalf of the dealership as requested.*
  1. Fuels and maintains a log of all vehicles.*
  1. Performs plates changes for deliveries.*
  1. Checks in all new vehicles off the truck and completes associated paperwork.*
  1. Responsible for documenting and following up on transportation damage/claims.

Summary:

Promotes and sells the dealership’s products and services through effective sales techniques and quality sales prospects by performing the following duties.

  • Greets each customer in a timely manner and determines vehicle needs by asking questions, listening and qualifying customers as quality sales prospects.*
  • Responds to customer inquiries by providing price quotations, relating vehicle information and receiving feedback to assure customer satisfaction with the dealership’s products and services.*
  • Provides effective sales presentations to support the dealership’s sales goals.*
  • Demonstrates various automobile features and extra accessories to customers as requested to include accompanying customers on test-drives.*
  • Prepares necessary sales agreements with price offers from customers; presents offers to Sales Manager for approval; negotiates a selling price within profitability guidelines.*
  • Obtains necessary purchase and registration documentation to include accurate customer information, credit details, and available bank financing.*
  • Completes final sale procedures by ensuring all necessary documentation for transfer of sale, vehicle registration, and automobile insurance is submitted.*
  • Ensures customers understand purchased vehicle operating features, warranty, depreciation if applicable, and related paperwork to foster customer loyalty and future referrals.*
  • Follows up completed sales via telephone to ensure complete customer satisfaction.*
  • Understands and supports the company’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers.*
  • Reports complaints received from customers to the Sales Manager.*
  • Stays current on technological changes in the industry; understands automotive terminology and reports competitive information to the Sales Manager.*

Summary:

Performs the timely completion of assigned repair, warranty and preventive maintenance service on automobiles by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Retrieves customer vehicles into the service area for service.*
  • Reviews service orders and inspects vehicles accordingly for additional repairs or malfunctions by test driving or troubleshooting vehicle operation.*
  • Applies technical knowledge to diagnose cause of vehicle malfunctions.*
  • Obtains final approval prior to performing additional repairs.*
  • Responds to repair inquiries in a prompt manner.*
  • Performs repairs and maintenance service work requested in accordance with quality and efficiency standards.*
  • Apples knowledge and ability to safely utilize all tools and equipment to include: “creeper”, pneumatic and hand tools, brake lathes, tire mounting/balancing/alignment machines, pressure washers, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment/torches, vehicle lifts, and diagnostic equipment.*
  • Retains and tags removed parts under warranty for return to the manufacturer.*
  • Test drives and assures proper operation of all vehicles in accordance with Department of Motor Vehicles standards.*
  • Completes vehicle inspections according to established procedures.*
  • Completes service related paperwork in detail and legible format.*
  • Maintains technical competence by attending all classes and shop meetings as requested, and reading all service bulletins to maintain needed skills.*
  • Cleans shop area by sweeping, removing refuse, washing floors and removing parts from floor area.*
  • Performs deliveries and pickups as assigned in designated vehicle by lifting material/merchandise to load and unload vehicle.*
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner to meet safety requirements determined by dealership and government agencies.*
  • Maintains time clocks in accordance with every job completed.*
  • Discards residual waste or hazardous materials using proper disposal methods.*
  • Maintains training as required by factory or service management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
